IPL 2024 RR vs RCB: Match preview, head-to-head and streaming details

In head-to-head play, Rajasthan won 12 of the 30 games in which the two teams faced off, while RCB won 15.

In the 19th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024Rajasthan Royals (RR) will lock horns with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur today, i.e., Saturday, April 6 at 7:30 PM IST.

RR will be full of confidence after winning three games in a row with convincing results. The team is currently preparing for its upcoming test at home against the eighth-place RCB, whose worries about the playoffs are already starting to surface. In Jaipur, the batters mostly enjoy pace on the bat, thus, the home team bowlers, which include the likes of Avesh Khan and Sandeep Sharma, will be up with the task of bowling with variety. The duo spinners Ravichandran Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal also need no remark on their skill set, while Trent Boult and Nandre Burger also had some interesting outings in their last three games. The openers, however, will be required to buckle up and be consistent. Riyan Parag and skipper Sanju Samson have been in top touch and their form is one of the major reasons for RR’s early success.

On the other hand, the visitors have lost three games in four matches and neither one has been a close contest. With the exception of Virat Kohli, the team has been lacklustre or just average. To defeat RR at their fortress will be an uphill task. The foreign batteries, which include Glenn Maxwell, Cameron Green, and Faf du Plessis, can take full advantage of the favourable pitch conditions. Mahipal Lomror and Dinesh Karthik are also giving decent performances. Nevertheless, the bowlers will face a difficult task in restricting RR batters. Reece Topley, Mohammed Siraj, and Mayank Dagar have been basic so far, albeit they will soon be expected to deliver positive outcomes.

Head-to-Head:

In head-to-head play, RCB marginally outperforms RR. Rajasthan won 12 of the 30 games in which the two teams faced off, while RCB won 15. The Bangalore-based franchise won by a commanding 112 runs last time when these two teams faced off.
