IPL 2023 LSG vs GT: Match preview, head-to-head and streaming details

GT have been undefeated against LSG, so far.

In the 30th fixture of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will be locking horns with the defending champions, Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow tomorrow i.e. Saturday, April 22 at 3:30 PM IST.

The KL Rahul-led side is moving ahead with great momentum, after winning the encounter against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Jaipur and has acquired the second position with eight points in four matches in the points table. Both the openers, the skipper Rahul and the Caribbean batter, Kyle Mayers have been in good touch, but they would like to power their scoring ability more in this clash. LSG are facing a problem with the inconsistency shown by their middle order, as the team is now expecting players like Deepak Hooda, Krunal Pandya, and Ayush Badoni to score some runs which can help the team to score big totals. Nicholas Pooran and Marcus Stoinis are doing the most with their powerful strikes and the finishing touches.

The bowling unit has been phenomenal with the likes of Ravi Bishnoi and Amit Mishra, supported by the pace battery including Mark Wood, Avesh Khan, and the newly added Yudhvir Singh Charak.

On the other hand, the Titans are coming in this match on the back of a three-wicket defeat in a close encounter against RR in Ahmedabad last Sunday. After having a six-day break, the Hardik Pandya-led side will look to revamp and re-strategize their plans, and once again will be eyeing to come back to its winning ways. The batting line-up which includes Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan, Wriddhiman Saha, and David Miller has shown great promise in terms of their batting ability. But the form of the skipper as a batter is under the scanner, as he has not been in good touch with the bat till now.

Despite facing a brutal run-bashing by the Royals’ batters last Sunday, Gujarat’s bowling unit still looks formidable, having the names of Mohammed Shami, Mohit Sharma, Rashid Khan, Alzarri Joseph, and newly recruited in the team as an impact player, in the last match, the Afghani chinaman, Noor Ahmad.

Head-to-Head:

GT have been undefeated against LSG, so far. The two sides faced each other twice in the previous year, and Gujarat won both fixtures.
