One of India’s top four pathology lab chains, Neuberg Diagnostics has been named as the official diagnostics partner for Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022.
For the recently commenced season, Neuberg has also been assigned to be an official diagnostics partner for Rajasthan Royals (RR), Chennai Super Kings (CSK), and Punjab Kings (PBKS). IPL has partnered with Neuberg Diagnostics for the second year and has already begun conducting Covid tests for IPL team members.
All the players, management team, broadcasting crew, state and central cricket committee members, groundskeepers, hotel staff, and event management team are being tested in accordance with the guidelines. At regular intervals, the tests will be conducted at various hotels where the teams are stationed in the bio bubble, as well as at stadiums for the other staff members. Players and support staff who test positive will be quarantined in a medical care facility.
Ms Aishwarya Vasudevan, Group Chief Operating, Neuberg Diagnostics Private Limited, said, “Omicron and Delta variants recombinant cases are getting detected from different states in India, the authorities are following all safety protocols to ensure the smooth functioning of the tournament. For the smooth functioning of IPL 2022, we are happy to undertake to test for all teams on the ground and help them curtail the spread of the virus.”
Neuberg Diagnostics have joined multiple other corporations that have partnered with IPL 2022.
