McDonald’s India – North and East has teamed up with the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, Punjab Kings (PBKS). Following this association, a special ‘Punjab Kings Meal’ has been curated.

On this association, Rajeev Ranjan, Chief Operating Officer, McDonald’s India – North and East, said, “Cricket is India’s most celebrated sport and IPL is amongst the most awaited leagues during the year. We are excited to bring forward this exclusive collaboration and partnership with Punjab Kings team that has consistently shown many inspiring performances.”

“It is an honour for us to be partnering with a brand that has established its legacy across the world. As a team our culture is firmly rooted in Punjab, and food is an integral part of it,” added Satish Menon, CEO, KPH Dream Cricket Private Limited.

On the field, the Punjab franchise has been in an intense situation as the team is battling for a spot in the top four of the leaderboard. PBKS played 12 games so far, they won and lost six fixtures each.

The Mayank Agarwal-led team will look to clinch the remaining two games to stand a chance of qualifying for the playoffs. In their upcoming game, PBKS will take on Delhi Capitals (DC) on May 16 i.e. today at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai at 7:30 PM IST.
