Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have confirmed a sponsorship deal with TV9 Bharatvarsh. The partnership continues with the Hindi news channel for the second year in a row. As part of this deal, KKR players will be having the logo of the television channel on the sleeve of the new kit during IPL 2021. KKR’s sister franchise in the Caribbean Premier League, Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) was also sponsored by TV9 Network last year.

The TV9 Bharatvarsh company brand will be advertised by KKR throughout the season. TV9 is one of the reputable and fastest growing channels in India. With this partnership, they will look to reach out to more viewers. Moreover, the channel saw a meteoric rise in recent times and is amongst the top media channels in India. It shows that their viewers are trusting and choosing the innovation and media work of TV9.

That’s why the TV9 Network, India’s largest news network, has partnered with one of the most exciting teams, Kolkata Knight Riders, for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL). With this tie-up, we intend to offer an exclusive IPL experience to our viewers.”

CEO of KKR, Venky Mysore, welcomed TV9’s back again as a sponsor. He said, “TV9 is a perfect partner for KKR because it is a rapidly growing brand across television and digital, with a phenomenally strong regional footprint to boot. So, we are glad to have them on our jersey in IPL 2021 as well.

TV9 Network has also launched a new channel in TV9 Bangla. Though which they will be hoping to cover the Kolkata viewers to make both brands successful. The concrete relationships and influence from the Indian Premier League (IPL) will help TV9 increase the reach of the channel to the new set of people in the regional areas and across the country to achieve their ultimate growth.

TV9 will not work with Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2021

Along with KKR, TV9 was also working with Rajasthan Royals last season. They were the principal sponsor for Royals. However, the agreement was only for one year as the Rajasthan-based franchise sealed a lucrative deal with Dubai Expo 2020 last month. Working with KKR will mean that TV9 will still get enough visibility in IPL 2021.
