IMG Arena obtains global data and streaming rights for Cricket West Indies

Following the partnership, IMG ARENA will compile official data from over 450 matches involving all West Indies national cricket teams.

The global sports data platform, IMG Arena has obtained global data and streaming rights for Cricket West Indies (CWI) in an alliance with CricViz.

Following the partnership, IMG ARENA will compile official data from over 450 matches involving the West Indies Men’s and Women’s national teams, West Indies Under 19, West Indies Academy, and various domestic leagues, including the Men and Women’s CG United Super50 Cup and West Indies Championship, to supply official information to over 460 regulated sportsbook operators worldwide.

As part of the collaboration, CricViz will offer its improved match centre, which will include sophisticated data analysis, prediction models, and live-action insights along with graphic visualisations. With its in-ground operating and collecting software, CricViz will assist with the data collection as well.

With the addition of cricket to its array of sports, which already includes soccer, tennis, golf, basketball, mixed martial arts, and more, the agreement expands the diversity of IMG ARENA’s data and streaming rights portfolio.

Speaking on the landmark alliance, Dominic Warne, Director, Commercial, Marketing & Communications at Cricket West Indies, commented, “This partnership has enabled us to increase the number of games that we can make accessible to fans, featuring more detailed live scoring and live match statistics in the Windiescricket.com Live Match Centre. We’re excited to be able to present more home international and West Indies regional matches than ever before so fans can follow their teams and favourite players.”

Freddie Longe, President at IMG ARENA, stated, “Cricket fans are among the most passionate in the world, making Cricket West Indies a fantastic addition to our growing content portfolio. We’re pleased to partner with CricViz and leverage their established position in the sport to drive further fan engagement and deliver first-class content to our partners.”
