IGL announces second season of Invitational Championship

The Indian Gaming league (IGL) have announced the IGL Invitational Championship Reloaded 2.0, after the successful conclusion of the inaugural season of the tournament. The upcoming Call of Duty Mobile (CODM) Multiplayer Tournament will consist have 16 teams. IGL has invited the top 13 teams of India including the newly crowned champions Team Mayhem.

Along with the top 13 T1 teams invited by IGL, three more teams will stand a chance to get an invite for the tournament. The selection of these three teams is strictly based on their performance in the upcoming Qualifiers or the events hosted during the past month on IGL.

The second season of the Invitational Championship is scheduled to kick-off on November 11. The final of the tournament will take place on November 13. The qualifier is scheduled to commence on November 6. The top two teams will be awarded a prize pool of ₹2,500 along with an entry into one of the biggest COD Mobile Tournaments in India.

Both the tournaments will be streamed on IGL’s official YouTube Channel. Highlights of the tournament can be viewed on IGL’s website. The registration for the qualifiers has now started on IGL. To participate, players can register at www.iglnetwork.com or download the mobile application.

In May 2020, IGL tied up with Round Table Asia Pacific to launch a Quarantine International gaming tournament to raise funds for Covid relief. The tournament was attended by international participants along with the regular users of IGL. The league conducted one game every day and managed to raise close to ₹75,000 for charity.

IGL is India’s most popular competitive gaming and e-sports league. Games on IGL can be played on any platform, including Xbox, PlayStation 4, PC, and smartphones. The league is created by gamers to have a high-quality competitive gaming experience whilst opening up the doors to a career in the multi-billion-dollar e-sports industry.
