Hyundai renews sponsorship ties with World Archery through 2025

The partnership between Hyundai and World Archery is set to continue till the 2025 season, completing a 10-year relationship that began in 2016.

The South Korean multinational automotive brand, Hyundai Motor Company has extended its naming rights deal to the World Archery Federation’s flagship international competitions, the World Archery Championships and Archery World Cup, for the upcoming three years.

The Hyundai Archery World Cup is the official name for the annual World Archery international circuit, which typically consists of four stages and a grand finale. The following two Hyundai World Archery Championships will be held in Berlin, Germany in 2023 and Gwangju, Korea in 2025. The competition this year serves as the main qualifying round for the Paris Olympic Games in 2024.

Hyundai Motor maintains sector exclusivity as the official mobility sponsor of World Archery, the championships, and the worldwide circuit through the deal extension. Hyundai Motor additionally retains prominent branding at international archery events and exposure in all relevant broadcasts.

Hyundai Motor also becomes World Archery’s first sustainability partner as a result of the agreement, recognising the two parties’ shared commitment to reaching carbon neutrality and exhibiting social responsibility.

Hyundai Motor and its affiliates have long been supporters of the sport, both domestically and internationally. The business manages a number of prosperous teams in Korea and has supported the Korea Archery Association since 1985, helping athletes through sports science and supplying state-of-the-art gear.
