Hyundai announces association with Common Goal

The South Korean car maker, Hyundai has announced a new partnership with the charitable foundation, Common Goal.

In this agreement, the car manufacturer has pledged to donate one per cent of its 2022 FIFA World Cup sponsorship fee to the venture aimed at driving change in society through football.

Common Goal is a pledge-based organisation that began in 2017. It was created to give professional football players and coaches the choice of donating 1% of their wages to a charitable organization.

The two entities have teamed up in an effort to aid the transition to a more sustainable global society. Furthermore, Hyundai will also deliver eco-friendly vehicles to Common Goal.

Hyundai President Jaehoon Chang, said, “Hyundai Motors’ sustainability goals are not limited by environmental impacts. We are committed to doing what is right for society. With our partnership with Common Goal, we are taking the next step in improving the common good.”
