FIFA announces partnership extension with Hyundai and Kia

Following the extension, Hyundai and Kia will continue to be the official mobility partners of FIFA, until 2030.

The apex council body of world football, FIFA has announced a partnership extension with the South Korean automobile companies, Hyundai Motor Group and Kia Corporation.

Following the extension, Hyundai and Kia will continue to be the official mobility partners of FIFA, until 2030. With this renewal, both entities will be providing mobility and logistic support in terms of transportation for the proper conduction of all the FIFA world events that includes the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup and FIFA World Cup 2026. The brands will provide all the modes of transportation that will help to fulfil all the logistic needs of the organisation during these mega events, which include the movements of teams and staff.

With this renewal, Hyundai’s global subsidiaries, Boston Dynamics and Supernal will get lucrative chances to show their high-octane innovation with the method of sustainability to the world audience, which can help them to create goodwill among them. 

This announcement was made in the presence of FIFA president, Gianni Infantino, and Karl Kim at the headquarters of the governing body in Zurich, Switzerland.

Founded in 1967, Hyundai Motor Group is a renowned South Korean automobile company that is currently headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. The company also owns Kia Corporation, which is the country’s second-largest automobile manufacturer, which is also having its base in the same city.
