With this development, the 30-year-old will be promoting the UK-based brand’s ambition of being the most sustainable apparel brand across the globe. Reflo was launched in November 2021 and gathered £1m in its initial funding round.
Kane has been donning the Reflo brand behind the scenes for more than a year, he initially wore the brand at The Icons Series in July 2022. From here onwards, as a brand ambassador, the striker will be wearing Reflo officially while featuring in Pro-Am and exhibition competitions, and practising.
Kane commented: “I want to invest in a company and brand that connects with my own values around a more sustainable future, and ensuring a world where golf performance and sustainability can co-exist makes me very excited.
“Hearing what Rory and the team at Reflo have planned shows me they have ambitious growth targets to help make sustainability and golf performance as prominent as possible and I can’t wait to be a part of this.
“As a footballer, I understand the importance of pushing boundaries and setting new standards, and that’s exactly what Rory and the team have shown me. The vision for the brand is incredible, and I can’t wait to be a part of it.”
Rory Macfadyen, Co-Founder at Reflo, said, “Since meeting Harry at The Icons Series last summer, we’ve kept an open dialogue with him and his team. Not only do they love the product, but they also truly believe in changing the game when it comes to sustainability and performance in sport.
“We have achieved so much in the two years since our launch, and it is an incredibly exciting time for us to welcome Harry into the Reflo family. We can’t wait to show everyone what we’ve got in store as we continue our mission to become the most sustainable apparel brand in the world.”
Reflo, headquartered in Doncaster, England, was founded in 2021 by Rory MacFadyen. The sustainable apparel entity makes its products from recycled plastic waste to match the standard demands of high-level sports activities. Reflo primarily utilizes recycled or recyclable packages and refrains from using single-use plastics from its supply chain.
The entity also has rich experience in sports affiliations as Reflo is the official apparel partner of Extreme E team Veloce in motorsports, Icons Series and WM Phoenix Open in golf. And the Harry Kane-association association has added vital mileage to its portfolio.
The past eight months have been quite fruitful for Kane off the football field as the striker teamed up with OxeFit, Skechers, and Fanatics. In one of the major career developments, Kane moved to FC Bayern Munich from Tottenham Hotspur in a historic deal in August 2023.
