FC Bayern Munich prolong partnership with URSAPHARM

Following the extension, the partnership between Bayern Munich and URSAPHARM has been extended for the next three years

The German football club, FC Bayern Munich have announced an extension with the German leading manufacturer in ophthalmology, URSAPHARM.

Following the extension, the partnership has been extended for the next three years. The alliance was first formed in 2017.

As per the extension, the partnership will be focussing more on the international market, along with China which has the club’s large fan following. This will also include the exclusive broadcast of LED advertising boards with HYLO branding in Asia as the activation activities. 

Andreas Jung, FC Bayern Board Member for Marketing, said, “We’re very pleased about the extension of the partnership with URSAPHARM and HYLO. For elite athletes in particular, healthy eyes are essential to producing maximum performance. In that respect, the topic of eye protection is also one that’s important to us.”

Dominik Holzer, Executive Partner at URSAPHARM, said, “We’ve already been working together very successfully with FC Bayern for six years and have been able to significantly increase our brand awareness within the framework of the partnership, especially at national level. The extension of the cooperation is therefore a logical step for us, as we would like to continue to engage with young and sporty target groups in particular and raise awareness of the topic of eye protection – but with an even stronger international focus in the future.”
