The Women’s Premier League (WPL) team, Gujarat Giants (GG) have developed sponsorship ties with the Indian life insurance company, HDFC Life.
In this development, the brand has been named the team’s official partner for WPL 2024.
The brand unveiled this deal with the WPL team through its social media handles, with the caption, “Proud to share that we are the official partner for the Gujarat Giants team, this Women’s Cricket season. Here’s to “securing” runs and holding our heads high with every game! Stay tuned for more!”
Founded on August 14, 2000, HDFC Life Insurance Company Limited is a long-term life insurance provider with its headquarters located in Mumbai. It provides services for both individual and group insurance.
Along with this, the team also developed commercial ties with Joy, Fortune Foods, and Ambuja Cements.
The Beth Mooney-led squad will play Mumbai Indians (MI) on February 25 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru to start their WPL 2024 campaign. The team, which finished last in 2023, will be aiming to turn things around this year.
