The Ahmedabad-based cricket franchise, Gujarat Giants (GG), owned by the Adani Group, have secured Joy as their principal sponsor for the new Women’s Premier League (WPL) season starting tonight.
This announcement was made via GG’s official social media channels.
Joy, a renowned personal care brand, was founded in Kolkata in 1998 by RSH Global. The established entity aims to utilise nature to help women unveil and preserve their inherent beauty.
The personal care brand, which is in its third decade, has rich experience of sports sponsorships – Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Delhi Capitals (DC).
Apart from Joy, the Beth Mooney-led team also, recently, announced associations with Fortune Foods and Ambuja Cements.
GG will kick off their campaign against Mumbai Indians (MI) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on February 25. With a formidable lineup featuring talents like Veda Krishnamurthy, Laura Wolvaardt, Phoebe Litchfield, Harleen Deol, Ashleigh Gardner, and Shabnam Md Shakil, the Giants are poised to outshine their previous season’s performance.
