Everton FC and KICK will work to improve the matchday experience with a variety of thrilling events designed to bring supporters closer to the club.

The Premier League club, Everton FC have announced a sponsorship agreement with the innovative community-driven online streaming platform, KICK.

With this development, KICK is set to become the club’s official sleeve partner as well as its official streaming partner. The brand has joined the club’s global partner portfolio, with KICK’s logo appearing throughout Everton’s digital platforms, in addition to featuring at Goodison Park, Walton Hall Park, and the Finch Farm training site.

The KICK branding will also make its debut on the shirt sleeves of Everton’s men’s senior team in this weekend’s pre-season match versus Sporting CP.

To commemorate the new collaboration, the Blues and KICK will work to improve the matchday experience with a variety of thrilling events and ideas designed to bring supporters closer to the club. For the 2023/24 season, Everton Women and Everton Under-21s will also sport the KICK branding on their sleeves.

KICK, which was founded in October 2022, is redefining live streaming based on the creator-first approach, with creators earning a favourable 95-5 split of subscription revenue garnered on the channel.

Everton will enter KICK’s universe of international streaming and esports through this deal, working with a number of the most well-known content producers on a platform with 15 million registered users. KICK receives about 80 million site visits each month, with over 82 million hours of broadcasts viewed collectively by June 2023.

Richard Kenyon, Everton’s Chief Commercial and Communications Officer, said, “We’re really pleased to announce and launch this innovative partnership with KICK. Working with KICK provides us with some fantastic opportunities to reach and engage with new audiences over the course of the coming season and we already have some exciting plans for matchday experiences, starting this week with our fixture against Sporting CP. We look forward to working with KICK and presenting new opportunities for our supporters while providing valuable global exposure for KICK as they continue their impressive growth.”

KICK’s dedication to expanding monetisation, in which content creators keep 95% of subscription earnings, has attracted some of the globe’s greatest entertainers, including Canadian superstar Drake and popular streamers xQc, Yassuo, and chess Grandmaster Hikaru Nakamura. The network, which is regarded as the most profitable income split ever offered to content creators, has an average of 10,000 channels operating at any given time, a figure that is growing.

Akhil Sarin, Director of Acquisition for KICK, said, “Partnering with Everton is an exciting step forward for KICK. We are a young, ambitious brand and to join forces with a global football powerhouse will do wonders for us. We can’t wait for Everton fans and the football community to see what our platform has to offer and the incredible content that will be showcased there.”
