Disney Star secures two new sponsorship pacts for ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023

Disney Star, the official broadcaster of ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, has secured two new sponsors for the highly anticipated marquee tournament.

The broadcaster is charging INR 118–120 crore for co-presenting sponsorships and INR 80–90 crore for associate sponsorships, as per reports. A price of INR 150 crore has been fixed by the entity for being the co-presenting sponsor on Disney+ Hotstar. According to reports, brands seeking prominent exposure as “Powered by” sponsors must be willing to spend INR 75 crore, while those choosing associate sponsorship should shell out INR 40 crore.

Among the other well-known companies that have signed on as sponsors for the competition are PhonePe, Mahindra Auto, Coke, MasterCard, and Hindustan Unilever.

The stage is all set for the high-octane tournament, where 10 cricketing nations will be fighting for the ultimate prize, the glory of becoming the World Champion of the ODI format. The competition will kick off on October 5, where the last edition’s finalists England and New Zealand will be facing off against each other at the humongous Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
