Based in Noida, Paytm is an Indian multinational financial technology business focusing on financial services and digital payments. Vijay Shekhar Sharma started it as One97 Communications in 2010. Through its QR code, Payment Soundbox, Android-based point-of-sale machines, and online payment gateway capabilities, the company allows merchants to accept payments from customers using mobile devices.
The Delhi-based unit did not start its campaign on a good note as it suffered a defeat against Tamil Thalaivas yesterday by 42-31 in Ahmedabad. The Delhi team will be looking forward to bouncing back in its next game against Bengaluru Bulls in Bengaluru on Friday, December 8. The line-up has the potential to turn the fortune in its favour with players like Vishal Bhardwaj, Sunil, Meetu, Nitin Chandel, Balasaheb Shahaji Jadhav, Akash Prasher, Vikrant, and Naveen Kumar.
