CONCACAF unveils Aramco as official energy partner

The CONCACAF and Aramco pact covers the CONCACAF Champions Cup and the CONCACAF Nations League finals scheduled from March 21 to 24.

Aramco, the globally integrated energy and chemicals company, was announced as the official energy partner by the football governing body, CONCACAF. The partnership commences with the W Gold Cup till the finals on March 10.

This tournament will feature top women’s national teams, including seven teams that participated in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Furthermore, the petroleum entity’s partnership with CONCACAF covers the CONCACAF Champions Cup and the CONCACAF Nations League finals scheduled from March 21 to 24. The latter will feature the ‘final four’ competition between the men’s national teams of Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, and the United States.

The collaboration also encompassed future men’s Gold Cups, CONCACAF Nations Leagues, men’s and women’s U20 and U17 championships, and CONCACAF club competitions.

Khalid Al Zamil, Aramco Vice President of Public Affairs stated, “Aramco has proudly established a track record of promoting active lifestyles by investing in global sports and events.  Concacaf will provide Aramco with significant visibility through its club competitions, and also opportunities for engagement with fans as the popularity of football grows across the region.”

CONCACAF President and FIFA Vice President, Victor Montagliani said, “We look forward with great anticipation to working with Aramco to elevate all of our Concacaf competitions.  This is a very exciting time for the growth of football in our region, and we truly believe this partnership will be of mutual benefit for both organizations.”
