Chennai Super Kings extend sponsorship deal with SNJ Group

The sponsorship deal will give SNJ Group exposure on the Super Kings' yellow jersey's leading arm as well as both sides of the trousers.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have announced an extension of the partnership with the Indian company with diverse interests in industries across a wide spectrum, SNJ Group. This new sponsorship deal has been extended for the next three years (2022 to 2024).

The sponsorship deal began in 2019 and will continue to give SNJ Group exposure on the Super Kings’ yellow jersey’s leading arm as well as both sides of the trousers.

Along with this, a series of initiatives will be launched by CSK and SNJ Group to engage with the franchise’s fan base across the country.

Speaking about the association, S.N. Jayamurugan, Chairman of SNJ, said, “We are elated to team up with CSK yet again for the fourth year in a row. This sponsorship is the convergence of India’s favourite IPL team and favourite brands, the British Empire and SNJ 10000. Staying true to our campaign slogan, our partnership is ‘Semma Mass, Semma Strong.”

K S Viswanathan, CEO, Chennai Super Kings Cricket Limited said, “We are delighted to continue our association with SNJ Group. The partnership has been fruitful and we are confident the next three years will be even more exciting. The extension of the association is another step forward in our long and successful journey.”

Back in November 2021, the defending champions had signed with India’s leading manufacturer of two and three-wheeler tyres, TVS Eurogrip as the team’s principal sponsor.

CSK will be facing Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL 2022 season opener at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on March 26. The team has begun its preparations in Surat, where the skipper, Mahendra Singh Dhoni has joined the squad. The four-time IPL champions will be aiming for their fifth title in the upcoming season.
