The Major League Soccer (MLS) team, Chicago Fire FC have penned down a multi-year association with the American energy drink, CELSIUS.
In this development, the MLS Eastern Conference team has announced CELSIUS as its exclusive energy drink. The American entity has received the rights to in-stadium activations on home matchday at Soldier Field, as per the pact. CELSIUS will also receive exposure through the day-to-day club assets like social media content, website and advertising. In addition, CELSIUS will also receive visibility at the Chicago Fire’s new Performance Center and the first-team training outfit.
Chicago Fire FC President of Business Operations, Dave Baldwin said, “We’re thrilled to bring CELSIUS aboard as the Exclusive Energy Drink of Chicago Fire FC and welcome them as the first sponsor of our new Performance Center. CELSIUS is a perfect partner to integrate into our Performance Center, as their brand is all about staying energized and living fit every day. With our new world-class facility, our players will be able train daily at the highest level as they strive to achieve their goals on the pitch.”
The newly unveiled affiliation is likely to be one of the most fruitful ventures considering the integration CELSIUS will be receiving – the presenting sponsor of the team’s home fixture each season, exposure across pre-match promotional materials distributed by the team, along with social media, digital advertising, email marketing, etc. The in-stadium activations also include visibility at LED and videoboard rotational signage. The sports drink company could also leverage the massive Chicago Fire FC’s following by interacting with them and presenting the fans an opportunity to win tickets, merchandise, exclusive experiences and more.
In the previous month, CELSIUS also partnered with MLS as the competition’s official energy drink until the 2026 edition.
On the field, Chicago City FC will be next seen in action tomorrow against DC United at 5 AM IST.
