Bundesliga appoints Sportskeeda as content partner

Sportskeeda was established back in 2009 and over these past years, it has grown to become India’s biggest multi-sport content platform.

India’s leading sports media company, Sportskeeda has joined hands with the German top-flight football league, Bundesliga. Following the association, the sports media giant has joined Bundesliga’s global network of content partners and will be working closely to provide engaging content and the latest statistical analysis to the Bundesliga fans throughout India.

The Bundesliga has been working with different content partners for several seasons now and Sportskeeda is the latest to join the current 18-member team. This content-producing plan aims to educate, inform and engage the fans through innovative social and digital media storytelling, which will ultimately land viewership to local broadcasters.

The high engaging and wide range of content is produced and published on short-form video platforms like Instagram and TikTok. There are also eye-catching graphics that highlight the league’s leading players, coaches, and teams.

Every year, the posts from the content partners reach nearly two billion unique users, with an engagement of close to 500 million across social and digital platforms.

Speaking on the occasion, DFL Vice President of Marketing Peer Naubert, said: “Using a network of multifaceted content partners is a key pillar of our marketing strategy and allows us to reach a new audience, where they can speak in a different way to traditional broadcasters but support in our goal to further increase viewership. As the fastest growing league in terms of interest and engagement, it is so important for us to continue to engage with younger fans, connecting with them at their level, communicating in an entirely new but much more effective way.”

Adding to it, Sportskeeda COO Ajay Pratap Singh said: “At Sportskeeda we’re always pushing to put our best foot forward for the fans.
