With this development, Jemimah has become the first female athlete to be onboarded as a brand ambassador in this particular category. The Indian allrounder has also joined the likes of KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya and Shreyas Iyer as brand ambassadors of boAt.
Rodrigues resonates with “Do What Floats Your boAt,” like the other boAthead. The 22-year-old is also a musician, guitarist, entertainer and content creator.
While announcing the association, boAt also released a comical video where the Indian company is trying to find a perfect boAthead via Sima Taparia from “Indian Matchmaking.” Sima asks the boAtheads to be open to compromise and commences the search to find the perfect match in her style. Sima finally finds the perfect Jem, who ticks off all the boxes.
Commenting on this collaboration, Jemimah Rodrigues stated, “As a boAt user myself, it is a matter of immense pride and honour. I am looking forward to being associated with boAt, a progressive brand that truly embraces the spirit of sports and supports it in more ways than one.”
Aman Gupta, Co-founder & Chief Marketing Officer at boAt, said, “We are proud to welcome Jemimah to our boat tribe. At boAt, we strongly support women in sports, and we believe in her tremendous potential to inspire an entire generation of hustlers. We look forward to working closely with her and creating greater impact on the ground level.”
