BCCI unveils ITT for media rights of Women’s IPL 2023-27

The final date to buy the ITT is December 31, 2022, according to the statement.

The Indian cricket governing body, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) released a new Invitation to Tender (ITT) for media rights for the 2023-27 cycle of the much-anticipated Women’s Indian Premier League (IPL).

If an Indian company is purchasing the ITT then it should pay INR 5,90,000 (INR 5,00,000 + 90,000 GST). If a foreign company is purchasing then it must pay in the United States Dollar (USD) for an amount equivalent to INR 5,00,000.

“The Governing Council of the IPL invites bids from reputed entities to acquire the Media Rights for the Women’s Indian Premier League Seasons 2023-2027, through a tender process,” a BCCI statement read.

The ITT contains complete terms and conditions regarding the tender process entailing eligibility requirements, the process for submission of bids, proposed media rights packages, and obligations etc. The ITT will be made available on receipt of payment of the non-refundable fee of INR 5,00,000 (Rupees Five Lakhs Only) along with an applicable Goods and Services Tax. The formalities to obtain the ITT documents are mentioned in Annexure A to these documents. The final date to buy the ITT is December 31, 2022, according to the statement.

The Indian cricket governing body, earlier this year, affirmed the commencement of the Women’s IPL.
