AS Roma Women secure landmark agreement with IBSA

Following the arrangement, IBSA has been named the first exclusive shirt sponsor of AS Roma Women.

The Serie A Femminile team, AS Roma Women have announced a partnership with the global multinational pharmaceutical entity, IBSA.

Following the arrangement, IBSA has been named the first exclusive shirt sponsor of La Lupa.

The unit asserted its reasoning for adding the pharmaceutical brand to its portfolio because of its illustrious work and achievements in the arena of women’s health and wellbeing.

Expressing his remarks on this esteemed deal, Lina Souloukou, AS Roma Chief Executive Officer & General Manager, said, “We’re proud to see our club join forces with an international partner, one which is so important and attentive to women’s health and wellbeing. IBSA’s decision to team up with the Italian champions is a further symbolic accolade for the women’s game, as it will be the first time a women’s team will have an exclusive shirt sponsor. For this reason, we see this partnership as an extraordinary opportunity to increase the value of our club, undertake a shared journey that goes beyond just shirt sponsorship and contribute together to consolidate the women’s football movement.”

Massimiliano Licenziati, President of IBSA Italy, stated, “We’re proud of this new partnership that sees us team up with one of the most important women’s football teams in Italy and the winners of the 22/23 women’s Serie A title. IBSA has been involved in the sporting world for six years now due to the healthy values that sport promotes. However, this partnership has a special meaning because it reflects IBSA’s commitment to the women who, thanks to their talents, play a key role within the company and in all the fields in which they work”.

IBSA Italy, from the house of Institut Biochimique SA (IBSA), was founded in 1992 and headquartered in Lodi, the same place where the original factory was established. IBSA Italy has expanded quickly over the years, with three R&D labs, a plant in Cassina de’ Pecchi, MI, and a headquarters in Rome. As a result, it is now a major economic and scientific player in the Italian pharmaceutical industry.
