Applebee’s takes the field as official grill + bar of the NFL

With this new partnership, Applebee's will leverage the entire NFL calendar, beginning with next week's NFL Draft, to engage football fans across the United States.

Applebee’s, an American restaurant chain, has secured a multi-year partnership with the National Football League (NFL), a professional American football league.

The pact has enabled Applebee’s to be the league’s official Grill + Bar. This strategic alliance has also positioned Applebee’s as the go-to destination for fans to gather and enjoy the upcoming NFL season.

With this new partnership, the American restaurant chain will leverage the entire NFL calendar, beginning with next week’s NFL Draft, to engage football fans across the United States. This comprehensive approach ensures fans can enjoy the excitement of the NFL season at every stage, from the anticipation of the draft to the heart-pounding action of game day.

Fans can choose to gather and celebrate at one of the more than 1,500 Applebee’s restaurants nationwide, enjoy the comfort of their own homes with takeout options, or even fuel their tailgate parties with Applebee’s To Go.

As per the agreement, the company will leverage national broadcast television and online media investments to further connect with NFL fans. This strategic approach will ensure maximum visibility throughout the season. 

Additionally, the casual dining restaurant will establish a presence at key NFL tentpole events, further solidifying its association with America’s favourite sport.

Applebee’s is a casual dining restaurant chain known for its neighbourhood atmosphere and American comfort food. Founded in 1980, the restaurant chain offers a menu of familiar favourites like burgers, pasta, salads, and its signature “riblets.”

The 105th season of the NFL kicks off on September 5 with Kansas City Chiefs, reigning champions, hosting the league opener. The excitement is building as the draft approaches on April 25-27, where new talent will be injected into the league.
