AutoNation and Alpine F1 Team will co-host events at the racetrack and in the surrounding Miami area, as part of the agreement.

The Alpine Formula 1 Team has signed a new sponsorship deal with the automotive retailer, AutoNation for the Miami Grand Prix 2023, which will take place between May 5-7.

Alpine F1 Team and AutoNation will co-host events at the racetrack and in the surrounding Miami area, as part of the agreement. Attendees will also have the opportunity to get acquainted with Alpine sports vehicles, such as a test drive in the Alpine A110. AutoNation had also sponsored the 2022 Miami Grand Prix, with activations including branding on the grandstand roof.

In addition, AutoNation is a sponsor in IndyCar, supporting drivers Helio Castroneves, who has won the Indianapolis 500 four times, Simon Pagenaud, who won the 2019 Indianapolis 500, and Kyle Kirkwood, who won the 2023 Grand Prix of Long Beach while competing for Andretti Autosport.

Alpine, Chief Executive, Laurent Rossi, said, “AutoNation is a tremendous retailer with an industry-leading customer experience and is also an experienced partner in motorsports, with a winning pedigree in the Indianapolis 500 and NTT IndyCar Series. This makes for a fantastic partnership in one of the most exciting markets in the world.”

AutoNation and Alpine are hoping to capitalise on brand exposure in the United States via the Miami Grand Prix, which garnered 2.6 million viewers on domestic television in the United States in 2022 and attracted a bevy of celebrities.

AutoNation, Chief Executive, Mike Manley, said, “As Americans become more familiar with Alpine products like the A110, they will understand why those with a racing passion and love for unique styling want to own a piece of a legacy built by racers.”
