Airlink soars in SA20 with Durban’s Super Giants accord

Following the deal, Airlink has been named the official airline partner of Durban’s Super Giants.

The SA20 team, Durban’s Super Giants have signed a partnership with the South African airline brand, Airlink.

Following the deal, Airlink has been named the official airline partner of the Durban-based side.

The unit with the help of social media handles announced its collaboration with the caption, “Connecting Southern Africa, through the skies and cricket 💙🤝Howzit, @Fly_Airlink ? ✈️”

Established in 1992, Airlink is a prominent airline company based in South Africa that offers services between larger hub airports and smaller, less well-served locations. Since then, it has expanded to encompass flights on longer mainline routes.

The brand is on blazing fire in terms of fetching commercial alliances with various SA20 teams such as Sunrisers Eastern Cape, MI Cape Town, and Pretoria Capitals.

The Durban-based team will begin its proceedings against MI Cape Town at its home stadium, Kingsmead in Durban on Thursday, January 11.

The unit had a disappointing campaign last year, as it finished fifth on the points table. The team will be looking ahead in the upcoming edition to improve its performance and lift the maiden SA20 trophy.
