Western Sydney Wanderers FC net partnership extension with JD Sports

JD Sports continues to be the official senior partner as well as the official sports retail partner of Western Sydney Wanderers FC for the 2023-24 season.

The A-League team, Western Sydney Wanderers FC have announced a partnership extension with the sports fashion retailer, JD Sports.

As per the new deal, JD Sports continues to be the official senior partner as well as the official sports retail partner of the club for the 2023–24 season. The logo of the company will be featured on the right back of the team’s shorts.

The partnership between the two entities started in 2017, and it has now entered its eighth season.

Along with supporting the club’s new WanderKid Programme, which grants grassroots players free entrance to all Wanderers’ home games, the collaboration will see JD Sports continue to interact with the Western Sydney community through a variety of activities.

Scott Hudson, Chief Executive Officer, Western Sydney Wanderers FC, said, “We would like to thank JD Sports Australia for their ongoing support of the Western Sydney Wanderers ever since their inception in the Australian market. We are excited to have their involvement in our new WanderKid Program and look forward to having them involved in a number of our community activities over the next two seasons.”

Hilton Seskin, JD Sports, Chairman, JD Sports Australia and New Zealand, commented, “The Wanderers have been a fantastic partner for JD since we launched in Australia, providing an authentic connection to Western Sydney to help build a loyal and important core customer base. We’re always looking at ways to support the next generation through community projects, and by continuing our partnership with the Wanderers we’re able to expand this work through the WanderKid Program and other initiatives.”

JD is a multichannel sports fashion store that sells branded sports and casual apparel. It combines well-known international brands like Nike, adidas, Puma, and The North Face with powerful private labels like Pink Soda and Supply & Demand to offer a superior shopping experience to its customers.

The Wanderers played a goalless encounter against Wellington Phoenix yesterday. They will be looking to open their points tally with a win against Western United FC on Saturday, October 28 at the CommBank Stadium in Western Sydney.
