Viacom18 obtains media rights for CEAT Indian Supercross Racing League

Following the agreement, ISRL will be broadcast on Sports18 and streamed live on JioCinema. 

The Indian broadcasting baron, Viacom18 has secured the media rights to the world’s first franchise-based supercross league, the CEAT Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL).

To increase the excitement for the event, the league has also announced a master calendar for its inaugural season, which includes three thrilling races in Pune, Ahmedabad, and Delhi on January 28, February 11, and 25.

Through this partnership, millions of fans nationwide will be able to witness the adrenaline-pumping action of Supercross racing, guaranteeing a never-before-seen viewing experience.

For the past year, JioCinema has continuously broken records when it comes to live sports streaming. The IPL 2023 final gathered a peak concurrency of 32 crore on JioCinema, setting a new record for the competition.

In recent times, the media unit also revealed that it is going to broadcast the biggest and second-oldest continental football championship, the Asian Cup 2023, which is set to begin tomorrow, January 12.
