UEFA prolongs sponsorship pact with Just Eat Takeaway.com

Just Eat Takeaway.com will continue to be the official food delivery partner of UEFA's men's club competitions.

The apex body of football in Europe, the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has announced a partnership extension with Just Eat Takeaway.com, the international online food delivery firm.

For the 2024–2027 commercial cycle, the business will continue to sponsor the prestigious UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Europa Conference League. Moreover, the sponsorship rights for the UEFA Futsal Champions League, UEFA Youth League, and UEFA Super Cup are also included in the arrangement.

Just Eat Takeaway.com will also continue to be the official food delivery partner of UEFA’s men’s club competitions, in addition to continuing to have visibility for the brand through broadcast sponsorship, in-game perimeter LED boards, and media interview backdrops. The brand will also get exclusive activation prospects throughout the next three seasons.

Furthermore, the two organisations will also keep working together on sustainability measures.

The Dutch company initially collaborated with UEFA in 2020, participating in 11 competitions, including the women’s youth leagues, the UEFA Women’s Champions League, and the UEFA Women’s Euro.

Susan O’Brien, VP Brand at Just Eat Takeaway.com, said, “Football and food delivery are a perfect match. We are very proud to partner with UEFA, as it gives us a unique opportunity to engage with football fans who can order their favourite food directly from our local platforms, while watching their favourite teams play in the most prominent European football tournaments.

“The partnership continues to deliver fantastic results for our brand, driving visibility, recognition and positive perceptions of Just Eat Takeaway.com across our markets globally.”
