UEFA EURO 2024 game will be available to all players on all console systems as a free update at the same time as the event.

The sports wing of the marquee game developer Electronic Arts (EA), EA Sports has obtained rights to the premier European football competition, UEFA EURO 2024.

The agreement will enable EURO 2024 to be featured in the EA Sports FC 24 video game.

The premier European competition is scheduled to start in the game during the summer season in the northern part of the globe. It will be available to all players on all console systems as a free update at the same time as the event. This also applies to users of the EA Sports FC mobile game and the EA Sports FC online service.

As part of the agreement, EA Sports will also serve as the official platform for the eEURO, UEFA’s soon-to-be-announced annual esports competition.

To encourage the partnership, until January 16, 2024, current EA Sports FC 24 ultimate team players will receive a unique bonus consisting of elite players from six European nations who qualified for the event.

Guy-Laurent Epstein, Marketing Director at UEFA, commented, “Euro 2024 is one of the world’s most vibrant and exciting soccer tournaments, and we’re thrilled that the huge EA Sports FC 24 community across the globe will get the chance to engage with the tournament in such an authentic gaming environment. We also look forward, in coming weeks, to unveiling further details around the eEURO competitive gaming tournament.”

David Jackson, EA Sports FC vice President of Brand, stated, “This exclusive Euros content will enable EA Sports to continue delivering the most authentic and innovative football experiences for our fans.”
