Tottenham Hotspur venture into multi-year association with Kiton

As part of the deal, Kiton is set to become Tottenham Hotspur's official formalwear partner.

The Premier League side, Tottenham Hotspur have announced a multi-year sponsorship agreement with an Italian luxury clothing company, Kiton.

As part of the deal, the brand is set to become the club’s official formalwear partner for the next two seasons.

As part of this new collaboration, the members of the first team squad and coaching staff will don clothing produced and made by KNT (Kiton New Textures), the urban wear brand founded in 2018 by Italian twins Mariano and Walter De Matteis.

The love of football shared by Mariano and Walter De Matteis, as well as London’s thriving cultural scene, played a significant part in uniting the two parties.

In keeping with the club’s colours and drawing inspiration from the water off the coast of Naples, Kiton’s trademark, high-end fabrics come in blue hues with white accents.

One outfit consists of a single-breasted mélange suit that was entirely tailored and sewed by hand. It will be utilized over a cotton jersey polo shirt and a white cotton and linen crew-neck pullover.

A second outfit is composed of a fine cotton t-shirt layered over jogger trousers in blue colour and is constructed of Kiton’s proprietary 14-micron wool. The coat has snap buttons. The set includes a compact nylon zip-up hooded jacket with a water-repellent, airy, and windproof membrane, a zip-up viscose sweatshirt, a short-sleeved crew-neck t-shirt, and cotton jersey cargo pants with a ruffled waist.

Whether black with a white stamped logo or vice versa, the footwear that goes with it invokes street culture and portrays a casual yet classy image.

Antonio De Matteis, Kiton CEO, said, “The Tottenham Hotspur family is very similar to ours, so we immediately matched in terms of values. In addition, KNT embodies the agonistic, dynamic and outstanding spirit of the Premier League, which is one of the most watched in the world. For a company like Kiton, being part of London’s international scene through a partnership with a historic club like the Spurs is the best way to make a debut in the sports industry.”

Ryan Norys, Tottenham Hotspur, said, “In Kiton we are proud to have a formalwear partner that will provide our players and coaching staff with exceptional design and tailoring, that will exude professionalism and maximise comfort as they arrive for matches – a crucial stage in the preparation for the 90 minutes ahead.”
