The renowned Tamil actor, Suriya has been named the team owner of the Chennai franchise for the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL).
The 48-year-old prolific actor has now been enlisted in the supreme ownership portfolio of the league that includes Ram Charan (Hyderabad), Akshay Kumar (Srinagar), Amitabh Bachchan (Mumbai), and Hrithik Roshan (Bengaluru).
The inclusion of Suriya will help the competition strengthen its aim of providing an opportunity for young cricketing talents nationwide.
