Taco Bell releases a digital campaign featuring Hardik Pandya

Taco Bell India has partnered with Microsoft Xbox to provide a unique opportunity for consumers, fans, and gamers.

Taco Bell has capitalised on India’s love of cricket by teaming up with Hardik Pandya as the face of a digital campaign aimed at encouraging gaming enthusiasts and Taco Bell fans to participate and #BeOneWithTheGame.

Taco Bell India has partnered with Microsoft Xbox to provide a unique opportunity for consumers, fans, and gamers. In the first film of the series, Pandya dons never-before-seen avatars and invites everyone to #BeOneWithTheGame, but with a twist.

The brand will release a series of digital films starring Pandya in which he will act out various scenarios in the real world while his mannerisms and characterisation will mimic avatars from the gaming world.

Pandya said, “I am elated to be part of Taco Bell’s digital campaign in collaboration with Microsoft Xbox. I am extremely competitive on the gaming console with everyone just as I am on the cricket field. The campaign gave me a chance to have a great time as I played different avatars that resonate with the Gen Z audience and gaming enthusiasts.”

Gaurav Burman, Director of Burman Hospitality (Taco Bell’s master franchise partner in India) said, “Taco Bell is a dynamic and disruptive brand and as a result, we have a loyal following for our delicious food from the gaming community. We are delighted to have the opportunity to partner with Microsoft Xbox for a second year and give our customers the opportunity to win the best gaming console in the world. The combination of a meal from Taco Bell coupled with gaming on the Microsoft Xbox is a marriage made in heaven. We are fortunate to have Hardik Pandya who is already a legend as our ambassador to spread the message.”

Taco Bell Corp., a Yum! Brands, Inc. subsidiary, is a Mexican-inspired restaurant chain that serves tacos, burritos, and other specialities. Taco Bell claims to have over 7,000 locations in more than 30 countries, including the United States.
