Sheffield United FC join hands with Gtech for Premier League 2023/24 season

Sheffield United have announced Gtech as the men's first team sleeve sponsor for the ongoing edition.

The Premier League (PL) club, Sheffield United FC have penned down a collaboration with the renowned home technology entity, Gtech.

In this development, the Blades have announced Gtech as the men’s first team sleeve sponsor for the ongoing 2023/24 English top-flight season. The company’s branding was visible on the club’s shirt sleeve for the first time when the unit took on the defending champions, Manchester City, yesterday.

The newly unveiled pact has brought together two entities that primarily focus on commitment, innovation and teamwork.

Nick Grey, Owner of Gtech, said, “I’m absolutely delighted to join forces with the Blades as their proud sponsor. This partnership is a testament to our shared values of pushing boundaries, embracing innovation, and striving for excellence. We believe that our cutting-edge home technology and the blades fanatical support for their club will create a winning combination both on and off the field.”

Paul Reeves, United’s Head of Commercial, said, “We are excited to welcome Gtech into the Sheffield United commercial portfolio. Gtech are a global leader for high performance home appliances and their dedication to technology development. This partnership will not only strengthen Gtech’s visibility alongside the club on a global stage but will also enhance the overall fan experience through collaborative initiatives and matchday activities.”

Gtech, based in Worcester in the West Midlands, provides cutting-edge home appliances that are efficient in the long run.

Sheffield United, so far, had an affluent run on the sponsorship portfolio as apart from Gtech, the team also partnered with Doordeals (for the women’s team) and CFI Financial Group.

Sheffield United are having a forgetful run at the moment on the field as the unit has yet to secure a victory in the three games it played so far. The team next plays on Saturday against Everton in the premium English competition.
