The German football club, FC St. Pauli have announced a long-term partnership with the German sports apparel and equipment company, Puma.
Following the deal, the German brand will be developing the sporting kits and equipment for both the professional and youth wings of the club.
Both German bodies will also be focusing on the noble cause of sustainability. To achieve this target, jerseys and workout attire will be produced by FC St. Pauli and PUMA using recyclable materials. The objective of this kind of programme is to employ recyclable resources more effectively and to establish new benchmarks for the circular economy.
Puma SE is a worldwide company based in Herzogenaurach, Bavaria, Germany that designs and produces apparel, accessories, and footwear for both sports and recreational use. Rudolf Dassler founded the brand in 1948 which is the third-largest sportswear manufacturer in the world.
In the second-tier football league in Germany, Kiezkicker are the table-toppers of the competition. The club, so far, secured six victories in its eleven matches and obtained 23 points. Today, the unit will be facing Schalke in its next game.
