Premier League collaborates with Kitman Labs to enhance youth talent development

Kitman Labs will be delivering the centralised data platform to all the academies of the PL clubs and the three lower-tier English Football League competitions.

The top-tier English football competition, Premier League (PL) has announced a brand new collaboration with the data intelligence company, Kitman Labs.

As per the accord, the company will be delivering the centralised data platform to all the academies of the PL clubs and the three lower-tier English Football League competitions.

The “Football Intelligence Platform” will gather information on coaching metrics, player statistics, injury data, and other topics, thereby combining data from all areas of a football club’s operations into a single, easily accessible location.

The strategy provides club data from the highest level down to the individual player level to improve the development of young talent emerging from the youth academies of the English teams.

Tony Scholes, Chief Football Officer, Premier League, commented, “The EPPP aims to create unrivaled development environments where every young person is supported to maximize their potential on and off the pitch. This partnership represents a significant development in how clubs and the Premier League can use data to support elite player development and personal growth across all club academies. Through this first-of-its-kind strategic partnership, we and our clubs will have access to world-leading technology and support, equipping us with the tools and knowledge to help the development of players.”

The Kitman Labs Intelligence Platform, a centralised, highly developed operating system, streamlines and automates procedures to help meet specific performance targets. It has a history of collaborating with top-tier athletic organisations, whether in football or another sport.
