PKL 2023-24: UP Yoddhas rope in Royal Enfield as associate partner

UP Yoddhas will be squaring off against U Mumba at Arena by Transstadia in Ahmedabad on Saturday, December 2 to kick-start their campaign.

The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) team, UP Yoddhas have announced a new pact with the Indian multinational motorcycle brand, Royal Enfield.

Following the deal, Royal Enfield has been named the official associate sponsor of the Yoddhas for the upcoming PKL 10.

The Uttar Pradesh-based unit used its social media handles to convey the partnership with the caption, “U.P. Yoddhas 🤝 Royal Enfield . Pesh karte hain desh ki shaan “Bullet Meri Jaan”, our Associate Sponsor @royalenfield” .

Based in Gurgaon, India, Royal Enfield is a worldwide motorbike manufacturer. With its original English heritage intact, the Royal Enfield brand is the oldest motorbike brand in the world still in continuous production. The business has manufacturing facilities in Chennai, India.

UP Yoddhas had displayed a good performance last year, and qualified for the knock-out rounds, but couldn’t go further as they got decimated by Tamil Thalaivas in a nerve-racking eliminator match.

This time around, the UP-based unit amplified its arsenal with some terrific new talents like Vijay Malik, Samuel Wafala, Helvic Wanjala, Harendra Kumar, Gulveer Singh, Gurdeep, Kiran Laxman Magar, and Nitin Panwar. The franchise also retained Pardeep Narwal, Nitesh Kumar, Sumit, Ashu Singh, Surender Gill, Anil Kumar, and Mahipal. With this new energetic squad, the unit will be focused on lifting its maiden silverware in the upcoming season.
