KiCK-EV will have its logo placed on the sleeves of Mumbai City FC's first-team outfits.

The Indian Super League (ISL) team, Mumbai City FC have announced a partnership with one of India’s fastest-growing electric two-wheeler brands, KiCK-EV.

Following the development, the brand has become the official EV partner of the club for the 2023-24 season.

Through this special collaboration, KiCK-EV will broaden its support for Mumbai City FC’s sustainability initiatives. Along with this, the firm will also have its logo placed on the sleeves of the Islanders’ first-team outfits, as well as exposure at the Mumbai Football Arena and the club’s training facilities.

As a pioneering leader in the electric vehicle sector with its headquarters in Mumbai, KiCK-EV is a subsidiary of the leading provider of roadside assistance, AUTO-I-CARE. Recently, KiCK-EV debuted the “Smassh” electric two-wheeler scooter, an affordable, trustworthy commuter companion with a full five-year warranty on the battery, controller, tires, and other equipment. KiCK-EV is expanding rapidly throughout Maharashtra, with experience centres launching in Pune, Nagpur, Chinchwad, Dombivali, and other cities.

Kandarp Chandra, CEO, Mumbai City FC, said, “From one organisation that truly believes in working towards a sustainable ecosystem to another, we’re delighted to welcome KiCK-EV to the Mumbai City family. While our shared beliefs will certainly lay the foundations of a promising partnership, we’re excited to associate with a fellow Mumbai-based organisation on this journey. We look forward to working closely with KiCK-EV, supporting each other to greater success.”

Sagar Joshi, CEO, KiCK-EV said, “We are extremely thrilled to announce that KICK-EV is the official EV partner of Indian Super League (ISL) defending champions Mumbai City FC which is one of the strongest and most popular teams in the league. KICK-EV is one of the fastest growing brands from Mumbai and Maharashtra in the electric 2-wheeler segment.

Both the brands being passionate Mumbaikars, the synergy with a top notch and a winning football club, KICK-EV hopes that with this association we can strengthen our brand awareness and products to reach a wider target consumer base across Mumbai and Maharashtra.”

Recently, the club also inked a sponsorship deal with the Indian nutrition brand, Fast&Up. The side will try to build on its excellent campaign from the previous year, when it won the ISL shield, and look to repeat the same this time around as well. The Mumbai-based side will begin its 2023-24 ISL campaign on September 24 against NorthEast United FC.
