Manchester City sign the dotted lines with Joie

Following the partnership, Joie has been named the official stadium naming partner of the Academy Stadium, the home turf of Manchester City.

The Women’s Super League (WSL) team, Manchester City have announced a brand-new partnership with the British baby care and gear brand, Joie.

Following the partnership, Joie has been named the official stadium naming partner of the Academy Stadium, the home turf of the Blues. 

It will be the next chapter in the multi-year relationship between Joie and Manchester City, as they pledge to develop and improve family-friendly services at the stadium, building on City’s commitment to offering the best possible matchday experience for fans of all ages across all stadium facilities.

As per the deal, more internal and external branding with the Joie emblem will appear around the stadium, and it will continue to be involved in every Women’s team fixture.

This includes special prizes and experiences, as well as the brand developing bespoke content with the Manchester City Women’s first team.

Gavin Makel, Managing Director, Manchester City Women, said, “Today is a really significant moment for Manchester City, as we welcome Joie as Official Stadium Naming Partner. Not only is this a huge moment for Manchester City Women but also for the wider club as the stadium changes name for the first time since its opening in 2014. 

He further stated, “A Women’s team partner since March this year, Joie shares our commitment to family values and high standards and we’re delighted the brand has chosen to extend its current relationship. It is a further reflection of the importance, growth and commercial appeal of Manchester City Women and the wider women’s game and we are excited to work together with Joie to maximise opportunities for families at our matches.”

The Cityzens will be starting their WSL campaign against West Ham United on October 1, 2023.
