Legends League Cricket boosts commercial standing with inclusion of Radio City India

Following the deal, Radio City India has become the Legends League Cricket's official radio partner for the upcoming edition.

The marquee T20 tournament, Legends League Cricket (LLC) has secured a new sponsorship association with an Indian radio station platform, Radio City India.

Following the deal, India’s first private FM radio station has become the league’s official radio partner for the upcoming edition. The T20 tournament utilised its social media platforms to spread the word about the partnership. The caption said, “Radio City brings #LegendsLeagueCricket to your radio sets! We are glad to have @radiocityindia as the Official Radio Partner for #LLCT20. Thrilling action begins on November 18th.”

Prior to this deal, the tournament also enhanced its sponsorship portfolio by signing deals with Indian Railways and Mera Hoardings

Radio City was established on July 3, 2001, and became India’s first private FM radio station, as mentioned above. It transmits from Bengaluru, Mumbai, Lucknow, and New Delhi at 91.1 megahertz. It offers music in Hindi, English, and regional languages.

Additionally, the brand was signed on as an official radio partner for the LLC Masters 2023, which took place in Doha, Qatar, earlier this year.

The elite T20 league will include over 200 players, with games held in Ranchi, Jammu, Dehradun, Visakhapatnam, and Surat. Last season, India Capitals claimed the title by overcoming Bhilwara Kings in the final at Jaipur’s Sawai Mansingh Stadium by 104 runs.

This time around, the league has included two new teams – Urbanrisers Hyderabad and Southern Super Stars, which will surely boost competitiveness and fan interest.

The upcoming season of LLC is scheduled to begin on November 18 and end on December 9.
