Legends League Cricket joins hands with Indian Railways

The marquee T20 league featuring retired players, Legends League Cricket (LLC) has announced a collaboration with Indian Railways.

Indian Railways is a statutory entity that operates India’s national railway system and is owned by the Ministry of Railways, Government of India. As of March 31, 2022, it runs the globe’s fourth-biggest national railway system, with an overall route length of 68,043 km, operating track length of 102,831 km, and track length of 128,305 km.

Recently, the league also announced the inclusion of two new teams, i.e., Urbanrisers Hyderabad and Southern Super Stars. Each side has paid $15 million to participate in the highly anticipated tournament.

The premier T20 league will feature over 200 players, with matches taking place in locations like Ranchi, Jammu, Dehradun, Visakhapatnam, and Surat. In the previous season, India Capitals won the championship after defeating Bhilwara Kings by 104 runs in the final at Jaipur’s Sawai Mansingh Stadium.

The forthcoming season of LLC is all set to commence on November 18 and conclude on December 9.
