The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) has announced a new partnership deal with financial service firm, Shriram Group. With this new deal, the Shriram Group has been named the title sponsor of the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 tournament. This new sponsorship has been penned down for three years.

The newly formed T20 competition will take place in remembrance of HRH Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar who was the late KSCA president and Maharaja of Mysore. The Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 is all set to commence on August 7 in Mysore, where the first leg of the contest is scheduled. A total of 18 games will take place at Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar Ground in Mysore. Following the first leg, the second one will consist of 16 matches in Bengaluru, including the final at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Shriram Capital is a division of the Shriram Group, which has a strong foothold in lending, non-life health coverage, life insurance, wealth management and other financial services. The organization manages more than INR 2 lakh crore in assets.

The competition will run for two weeks and will be broadcast live on Star Sports 2 and Star Sports Kannada. For fans, the T20 contest will also be streamed live on the FanCode app.
