Kookaburra continues as Cricket Victoria’s official partner for next three seasons

Cricket Victoria and Kookaburra first inked an agreement in 1937.

The governing body for cricket in the Australian state of Victoria, Cricket Victoria has announced a multi-year sponsorship extension with Australia’s leading cricket manufacturer, Kookaburra.

As part of the deal, the brand has been labelled as an official partner of Cricket Victoria for the next three seasons.

Kookaburra was founded in Melbourne in 1890 by AG Thompson and is still 100% Australian-owned and run today by fourth and fifth-generation Thompson family members.

Cricket Victoria and Kookaburra first inked an agreement in 1937. Every year, Kookaburra distributes cricket balls for contests at all levels throughout the state.

By the deal, Kookaburra will remain the naming rights partner of the Victorian Premier Cricket tournament as well as a community cricket partner.

Kookaburra is happy to assist players at all levels of journey, from the state’s finest to Premier Cricket and beyond.
