Kotak Mahindra Bank (Kotak) announced in a press release on Wednesday about becoming the Official Partner of the Indian Premier League franchise Mumbai Indians for the second consecutive year. The bank will be acting as a partner of the most successful franchise during IPL 2021.
After getting a decent response from the fans of Mumbai Indians, Kotak has launched MyTeam Cards – a specially designed range of Debit and Credit Cards. The fans of India’s most beloved sport will get yet another reason to rejoice, for now, they can own a specially designed Cricket themed Debit and/or Credit Card of their favourite team – Mumbai Indians.
The Kotak MyTeam Cricket Edition range of Debit and Credit Cards will feature prominent visuals of the MI players, the Mumbai Indians logo along with a watermark, and the team’s official colour as the background. The must-have cards for all the passionate followers of the team will be made available for a special price of Rs 199/- only.

Kotak is planning on “giving millions of ardent Mumbai Indians supporters a unique opportunity to own a small piece of their team and display their fandom in a unique way,” where they will be owning ATM cards with MI impressions over it.
Also, the Mumbai Indians spokesperson commented on this development by mentioning this concept being an interesting and innovative initiative, saying that they are “sure that this card is going to be loved by all fans.” He further added by saying, “We are constantly endeavouring to enhance the experience of our fans not just with our on-field performance but off-field value-driven engagements as well.”
Meanwhile, Kotak customers are able to select their preferred image by visiting the Kotak MyImage Gallery on the website, net banking or mobile banking platforms. The non-Kotak customers can also apply for the MyTeam Debit Card by opening a Kotak savings account and then selecting their favorite image.
