Inter Miami CF go global with Visa partnership

Visa will serve as Inter Miami CF's first-ever official international payment services partner.

The Major League Soccer (MLS) club, Inter Miami CF (IMCF) have announced a multi-year international partnership with the global payments giant, Visa.

Visa will serve as the club’s first-ever official international payment services partner.

The partnership focuses on leveraging Visa’s global network to amplify IMCF’s brand activation across key markets in Latin America, North America, and Europe. Inter Miami’s ownership group featuring international stars like David Beckham boast a significant international fanbase. Visa’s partnership will provide the club with additional resources to engage with these fans and further solidify its global presence.

Specific details regarding fan experiences and partnership activations haven’t been revealed yet. However, both organizations emphasized that Visa will offer exclusive benefits to Inter Miami fans. The partnership will be strategically activated across various international markets, with details forthcoming.

Visa is a leading global payments company enabling electronic funds transfers through credit cards, debit cards, and prepaid cards. In recent news, Visa signed pacts with the Olympic gold medalistNeeraj Chopra, as a Team Visa athlete for the Paris Olympics 2024, and the football superstar and Liverpool FC (LFC) striker, Mohamed Salah. The global payment company also extended its partnership with FIFA as an official partner until 2026.

Recently, El Inter announced a partnership expansion with Royal Caribbean International. They also signed multi-year partnerships with Duracell, JPMorgan Chase and Lowe’s.

The Herons are currently on top of the MLS Eastern Conference standings, boasting six wins, three draws, and two losses. Their next challenge awaits as they host New York Red Bulls on May 5 at 5:00 AM IST.
