India Yamaha Motor joins Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team for 2024 season

Fabio Quartararo and Alex Rins' YZR-M1 bikes will prominently display the iconic logo of India Yamaha Motor's "The Call of the Blue" brand campaign.

The leading two-wheeler company in India, India Yamaha Motor (IYM), has announced a partnership with the Italian-Japanese factory racing team, Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team, for the 2024 season. 

The iconic logo of IYM’s “The Call of the Blue” brand campaign will prominently feature on Fabio Quartararo and Alex Rins YZR-M1 bikes. This partnership deepens the bond between the Indian company and the MotoGP team, signalling a new era of excitement for Yamaha fans in India.

Commenting on the association, Mr. Eishin Chihana, Chairman, Yamaha Motor India Group said, “IYM is thrilled to become the newest sponsor of the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team for the 2024 season. The collaboration not only strengthens our bond with MotoGP but also signifies a new phase of aspiration and enthusiasm for Yamaha enthusiasts in India. By prominently featuring ‘The Call of the Blue’ logo on Fabio Quartararo’s and Alex Rins’s YZR-M1 bikes, we aim to ignite greater enthusiasm among young Indian fans to embrace Yamaha’s legacy associated with the thrill of racing. India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. is a subsidiary of Yamaha Motor Company, Japan, and one of the leading manufacturers of motorcycles, scooters, and other motorized vehicles in India.  

The 2024 MotoGP World Championship will kick off on March 10 at the Lusail International Circuit in Qatar.

In one of the recent updates, MotoGP also secured a broadcast rights agreement with Eurosport India in India and the South Asia region.
