One of the six teams of the Global Chess League (GCL), Ganges Grandmasters have recently inked a new association with the Indian sportswear brand, Shiv Naresh.
In this newly unveiled pact, the Maharashtra-based company was named the official kit partner by Ganges Grandmasters.
The GCL announced this esteemed partnership through its social media platforms, with the caption, “Ganges Grandmasters checkmate’s @SportsNaresh as their Official Kit Partner for the Global Chess League.”
Shiv Naresh was established in 1987 and has been manufacturing India’s top-quality sports apparel by utilising its modern technologies. The sportswear brand has rich experience in collaborating with sports teams as Shiv Naresh also partnered with the likes of Haryana Steelers, Puneri Paltan, and Dabang Delhi, in the past.
Pravin Thipsay manages Ganges Grandmasters and the team includes Viswanathan Anand, Andrey Esipenko, Bella Khotenashvili, Leinier Dominguez, yifan, and Richard Rapport.
The inaugural season of GCL kicked off yesterday in Dubai and the season opener will be played today with two fixtures – Triveni Continental Kings vs upGrad Mumba Masters (5:30 PM GST) and Chingari Gulf Titans vs Ganges Grandmasters (6:50 PM GST).
