The National Basketball Association (NBA) team, Minnesota Timberwolves and the WNBA team, Minnesota Lynx have announced a brand new partnership with the digital sports and e-commerce company, Fanatics.
Following the accord, Fanatics will be seen handling the official e-commerce business for the Minnesota-based teams as their end-to-end retail partner. The deal between the entities will also allow the retail brand to set up its in-venue retail touchpoints on the matchday at the Target Centre.
The collaboration entails building e-commerce websites, both of which are already operational and run on Fanatics’ proprietary Cloud Commerce Platform.
Fanatics will invest money to revamp the Target Center’s in-venue retail options, which include its team stores, kiosks, and extra concourse shops, in addition to offering its online services.
