A concurrent viewership of 3.5 crore was achieved during this high-octane encounter on the premier OTT platform.
In the initial stage of the match, when the Pakistani team started its batting, the concurrent viewership numbers were at 2.5 crore, which escalated to 3.5 crore, once India started batting. This sets the global streaming record on the platform, which is the highest-ever record across all formats.
The onslaught of the viewership record was highly anticipated with the India-Pakistan game, as this is the encounter that grabs everyone’s eyeballs from all over the globe.Â
Before this clash, both sides faced off against each other in Colombo in the Asia Cup 2023, where a concurrent viewership of 2.8 crore was registered on Disney+ Hotstar.
